Thinking and Reflection
My own self, at my very best, all times….
Welcome to my first blog post. I am excited to share this journey of greatness with you. I love the concept of blogs! There is no proper format or form, just freestyle writing. I get to write my thinking and my reflections on life. The past 2 years have been very enlightening. I have learned so much about me. God has shown me so much favor and grace. I have really understood how blessed I am. I was given an opportunity back in May to be an undergraduate facilitator for students from 4 different universities. This changed my life. I was forced to stay 8 days and 7 nights in an unplugged area. No internet, no phone, no TV. Just me, and God’s great creation, earth. It was there, I learned to be still and think. I learned the true meaning of reflecting. Every night, I went to the ocean. I stood at the end of the shore. As I looked out, I could see no end. The water was unlimited. At my church, Miracles Tabernacle in College Station, TX, our theme for 2017 is “No Limits, No Boundaries.” Wow, the correlations! God told Abraham in Genesis 13:14-15, “as far as your eyes can see, it will be yours.” Limitless possibility.
God allowed me to see my limitless possibilities. It was there, he showed me my vision. GREATNESS!! This is just the beginning. The best is yet to come!
I encourage you to learn how to take a moment to think and reflect daily! The ePortfolio process is largely reflecting. It gives you the chance to process and hear from God. I want to share with you “Five Phases of Thinking and Reflecting” by John Maxwell. Be Blessed.
